February 11, 2019   <\/strong>In the presence of the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella <\/strong>was inaugurated today the T2 Vespucci<\/strong> line of the tramway that connects the airport of Peretola<\/strong> to the train station of Santa Maria Novella<\/strong>. In addition to the Mayor of Florence Dario Nardella<\/strong> and the President of the Region of Tuscany Enrico Rossi<\/strong>, the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Danilo Toninelli<\/strong> and the European Commissioner Corina Cretu<\/strong> were also present at the ribbon-cutting ceremony.<\/p>\n

The T2 line consists on 13 stops, all equipped, like those of T1 Leonardo<\/strong> line,tutte attrezzate, come quelle della linea T1 Leonardo<\/strong>, with AEP ticket vending machines RTVM-I, capable of accepting payments in coins, banknotes and bank cards EMV, contact and contactless. Vehicles are all equipped with AEP F240B validators, integrated in the ATAF<\/a> automated fare collection system, based on AEP’s ET-The Easy Ticketing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
