{"id":32909,"date":"2019-04-07T20:57:43","date_gmt":"2019-04-07T19:57:43","guid":{"rendered":"\/en\/2019\/04\/tiemme-ancora-prima-con-emv\/"},"modified":"2020-09-24T09:34:11","modified_gmt":"2020-09-24T08:34:11","slug":"tiemme-ancora-prima-con-emv","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.aep-italia.it\/en\/2019\/04\/tiemme-ancora-prima-con-emv\/","title":{"rendered":"Tiemme still first with EMV"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Siena, april 2019, 5<\/strong>&nbsp;&#8211;&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiemmespa.it\/\">Tiemme<\/a>&nbsp;<strong>is once again the first&nbsp;<\/strong>and as confirmed itself as one of the most innovative Italian companies in public transport.&nbsp;Already the <strong>first in Italy<\/strong> to have adopted the payment system based on EMV bank cards <strong>on an entire urban area<\/strong> in the city of <strong>Grosseto<\/strong>, Tiemme presents today another absolute novelty, extending this new payment system to the suburban line <strong>Siena &#8211; Colle Val d&#8217;Elsa &#8211; Poggibonsi &#8211; San Gimignano &#8211; Florence<\/strong>, thanks to the participation of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mastercard.it\/it-it.html\">Mastercard Italia,<\/a>&nbsp;the electronic ticketing system <strong>ET, The Easy Ticketing<\/strong> of AEP and the <strong>ET-PAY<\/strong> platform for on-board payment with EMV contactless bank cards.<\/p>\n<p>From next April 15, <strong>thirty <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiemmespa.it\/\">Tiemme<\/a>&nbsp;suburban buses<\/strong> equipped with Futura 3B&nbsp;validator, will allow the traveler to pay for his trip using bank cards, on the whole route, with two important innovations, probably introduced for the first time in Europe:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>possibility to <strong>select the destination<\/strong>,&nbsp;by means of the touch screen of Futura 3B;<\/li>\n<li>possibility to make the payment also<strong> for more people<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Buses&nbsp;show&nbsp;the&nbsp;decalcomania of the <strong>Pay and Go<\/strong> campaign on the uphill doors, show&nbsp;on destination sign&nbsp;information for travelers of the possibility of using their bank card on board.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;We are proud to be at the top of Europe for this innovative service that simplifies the lives of citizens<\/em> &#8211; says the General Manager of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiemmespa.it\/\">Tiemme<\/a>, <strong>Piero Sassoli<\/strong> (on the right in the picture) &#8211;<em> After the entire urban service of Grosseto, here is a suburban&nbsp;line so important for the territory of the province of Siena, where thousands of customers&nbsp;travel every year for tourism and work. Especially tourists are the ideal target of this new project, which allows us to propose smart payment solutions, also useful to eliminate any alibi for the sly ones.
