18001\u00a0certification<\/h1>\n<\/h2>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Signa, 20.09.2019<\/strong>\u00a0AEP has achieved OHSAS 18001 certification relating to occupational safety and the health of its employees.<\/p>\n<p>OHSAS 18001 is a voluntary standard, applicable to all private and public, manufacturing and commercial organizations, which establishes how to implement a health and safety management system at work, so as to control and manage all the activities carried out, minimizing the risks of accidents at work.<\/p>\n<p>Essential requirements to achieve OHSAS 18001 certification are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the implementation of a safety management system consisting, essentially, of a set of rules and responsibilities;<\/li>\n<li>the compliance with current legislation on occupational health and safety at all levels: regional, national and European;<\/li>\n<li>the commitment, on the part of management, to continuous improvement in the field of health and safety of workers, evidenced by the definition of targeted objectives for this specific issue.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>\u201cDue to its voluntary nature and recognition at international level, we believe that OHSAS certification represents an important step in the evolution of our company\u201d<\/em>, said Mr <strong>Giovanni Nebiolo<\/strong> responsible of AEP Human Resources, <em>\u201cIt confirms our attention to the issues related to the health and safety of workers, an issue of great importance, which is a moral obligation, even more so for those who, as AEP, is called to operate in the area of
