Tiemme is certainly one of the Customers to which AEP feels more tied, not only for territorial reasons and not only for having ordered, in the now distant 2001, the first lot of the then brand new and innovative Futura 2.

Tiemme is also one of the most important and dynamic Italian companies, absolute pioneer in the field of payment on board with EMV contactless bank cards according to the Transport for London model. Over the last few months, Tiemme has in fact put into operation:

• Grosseto, the first EMV system on an entire urban area in Italy (December 2018);
• Florence-Siena-San Gimignano line, the first EMV on a suburban line (April 2019);
• Castiglione della Pescaia (June 2019).

On September 12th the EMV system will start in the whole urban area of Siena, one of the most famous Italian cities in the world, visited every year by millions of international tourists.

For the occasion Tiemme has organized a technical visit of Club Italia, extremely interesting not only from a technical point of view but also ...touristic and gastronomic!
